Following is a listing of adoption events in and around NYC where you can go to adopt your next companion animal — that is, your new best friend! Listed below (highlighted in boxes) are Mayor's Alliance/Maddie's Pet Adoption Festivals where multiple shelters and rescue groups show animals for adoption. Also listed below are special one-time adoption days held by Alliance Participating Organizations (APOs) at locations in or near New York City.
