get both you and your dog into shape…through yoga! Participants
and their canine companions go through ancient yoga techniques together

Pets Rescue: Howlidays Festival and Fundraiser

NY Dog Spa and Hotel, 32 West 25th Street, Manhattan
Please join us for holiday cheer, food, and drinks,
and learn about Posh Pets Rescue. Money raised by this festive fundraiser
will go directly toward the care of our rescued pets, such as veterinary
surgeries for injured and ill animals, spaying, neutering, other
medical expenses, and behavior rehabilitation. Enjoy food and drinks
provided by some of NY's top restaurants and Starbucks. Gift bags
will be handed out and items will be raffled. Crowd- and dog-friendly
dogs are welcome. There is no cover, but donations will be greatly
appreciated.

A day-long workshop for the feral cat caretaker.
Topics include Bottle Babies; Socializing Feral Kittens; Drop Traps;
Secondary Caretakers & Colony Registration; Colony Set-up &
Care; Neighbor Relations; and Illness & Injury in Feral Felines.
Attendees will receive a tote bag filled with a feral cat caretaker
resource binder, cat food samples, catnip, cat toys, cat magazines,
and other goodies. There will also be a raffle for feral cat colony
items, including winter shelters and feeding stations. Vegan lunch
provided. This workshop is free, but registration is required.

How to Manage a Feral Cat Colony" Workshop

SaveKitty Foundation will instruct this class. Come
learn how to care for the feral and stray cats in your community
and make use of the many resources now available to assist you.
All steps in setting up a managed colony will be covered, including
establishing good community relations, feeding, building and placing
shelters, arranging vet care, finding recovery space, safely handling
feral cats, and trapping (with an emphasis on conducting a mass-trapping
of an entire feral colony at once). All workshop attendees will
become TNR certified, and NYC residents will gain access to free
spay/neuter and trap rental. Join the 1,500+ caretakers trained
to date! There is no fee to attend this class, but advance registration
is required.

shows at The Cutting Room in NYC. Each night will feature Jules

the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals. Jules, a rescue dog owner
himself, is very happy to have this opportunity to show some love

This race is sanctioned byUSATF, but with a twist
— we allow dogs to run in the event with their owners. It's
held at a winery in Mercer County, NJ, and many pet rescues and
pet-related vendors will be present, as well as music, wine tasting,
beer, raffles, food, dogs for adoption, etc. Free parking. Registration
is $25; expo admission is free. All proceeds benefit local pet rescues.
