Special Fundraising Event
It's a Walk in the Park for the Animals!
|
Join thousands of New York's
pet lovers in Central Park on June 3 to help raise funds
and awareness for homeless pets! |
|
You and your canine companions are invited to join
fellow animal-lovers on Saturday, June 3, in Central Park's East
Meadow for the ASPCA's first-ever Central Park Dog Walk to raise
funds and awareness for NYC's homeless pets.
The event will kick off at 9:30 a.m. and culminate
with a fun Finish Line Festival, featuring face painting for kids,
live music, and raffles. Bring the family, friends, and, of course,
your pooch to what promises to be a banner day for NYC's animals.
Friendly spayed or neutered dogs, age six months or older, are invited
to join the walk. All funds raised will support the creation of
a more Humane Community in New York City — one in which pets
are respected and protected, and all residents work together to
ensure their humane treatment.
Thanks to the City of New York Parks and Recreation
Department for its important role in making this event a reality!
For more information, or to register for the walk,
please visit the ASPCA
web site. You'll also find downloadable pledge forms, so your
family, friends and co-workers can support you and your tail-wagging
walking buddy.
