Animal Fair Magazine Presents the Jeep® Yappy Hour Event NYC to Benefit the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals
New York, NY Tuesday, November 22, 2005
Dolled-up dames, dons, and the dogs who love them will be turning
out in force for one of the season's hottest tickets — the
Jeep® Yappy Hour
Event on Wednesday, November 30, at the Mark Garrison Salon,
108 East 60th Street, in Manhattan.
Pampered pooches and their guardians will mix and
mingle with other dog-lovers at this not-to-be missed affair, kicking
off the 2005 Holiday Season with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, gourmet
food for dogs, and take-home doggie bags that will delight canines
and their companions alike.
For those event-goers who don't have a canine companion,
a selection of adoptable dogs from area shelters and rescue groups
— members of the Mayor's Alliance — will be on hand
to tempt and tantalize, and hopefully find their perfect match at
the event. These adorable dogs also will be available as "escorts"
by the half hour, with a $30 donation to the Mayor's Alliance. This
is a great way to meet people, donate to a great cause, and see
if the dog is right for you!
The Jeep® Yappy Hour Event, staged
in cities across America by Animal Fair's Wendy Diamond
and her pup-companion Lucky, is a fun-for-Fido fundraising event
that raises money and public awareness for worthwhile animal causes.
This year's event in New York City is a fundraiser for the Mayor's
Alliance for NYC's Animals — a coalition of 85-plus animal
shelters and rescue groups working with the City of New York to
transform NYC into a no-kill community.
Tickets to the event are $75, and may be purchased
online or by mail. For convenient online purchase with a credit
card, go to www.AnimalAllianceNYC.org/yappy/.
Or, to purchase tickets by mail, send a check (made payable to the
Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals) to the Mayor's Alliance
for NYC's Animals, 440 Ninth Avenue, 8th floor, Suite 9, New York,
NY 10001.

the city who needs one. For more information about the Mayor's Alliance
